Howdy crossword peeps! I have an easy 2/5 puzzle for you this evening. Just a little something extra for you to breeze through if you need a Netflix break.
Thanks to those of you who reached out to say you enjoyed the NYT puzzle this past Tuesday. It was an interesting day on Crossword Twitter. The best part is that NPR’s Peter Sagal actually tweeted his defense of the puzzle to the Tom Swifty haters. I call that a good day. 🙂
Welcome to all you new subscribers. I’m so glad you’re with us! See you here again soon.
I'm a husband, father, psychologist, musician, and crossword constructor living in Catonsville, MD. My puzzles have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times and its syndicates, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Andrews McMeel Universal Syndicate, the American Values Club Crossword, and crossword apps such as the Redstone Crossword Puzzle App on iOS and Google Play. All of that means I've been published in every newspaper in the United States and many others around the world. And now I've been published here at Grid Therapy, which allows me the freedom to let who I am shine through. I hope you enjoy your time here on the crossword couch! I'd love to hear from you if you have comments or suggestions. If you're interested in having a custom crossword puzzle created for your event or organization, email me at drtrent (at) gmail.com.

Great puzzle, thanks! Just one “dig”. Digs for dogs. I was thrown with “kennel” as I was expecting a plural answer. Did I miss something in the clue? Did “dig for dogs” not sound right? Thanks again!

Yes that was tricky. In the slang usage for ‘digs’ as a place you live, it’s always plural even when referring to a singular residence.
Good puz! I got stuck on SW crossing of emus and Miss M. Oh well.
My knowledge gap aside, this was a fun one to solve with a intriguing theme… gotta keep my eyes open!
This was fun. Thanks, Trent. I’m a fan!
I really appreciate that Eric! Glad you enjoyed it.
