I have so many things to be grateful for over the past year. I got to travel to Europe to play on a jazz band concert tour with my amazing wife Beth. I got a beautiful Mini Australian Shepherd puppy named Donut. My wife and I have kept our kids alive and out of jail (and hopefully happy and well-adjusted) for one more year. And I’ve had the privilege of being a tiny part of the amazing crossword community which is filled with kind, intelligent, and interesting people. Other blessings are too numerous to post.
Thanksgiving is loaded with some unpleasant history, but for me and my family, the day is celebrated mindfully as a time to enjoy the company of our loved ones, meditate with gratitude on what is good in our lives, and focus on how we can try to help others who are less fortunate over the coming year. This day seems especially important this year as we try to keep light alive in the face of the increasing darkness we witness in the world around us.
Today’s holiday puzzle is an easy to easy-medium themed crossword which I hope you enjoy. Also, check out my Andrews McMeel Universal puzzle this coming Saturday, November 30th. I’ll have another Grid Therapy puzzle here for you Saturday, December 7th. Have a wonderful day and I wish you all the happiness.
